David Putnam 80 Dies After Illness at Sister’s Home
David Putnam aged 80 died last night at the home of his sister Mrs Esther Barton on West Third Street after a two week illness from heart complications. He was born in Clayton County Iowa and lived in Sulphur Springs Missouri before moving to Washington a month ago. Surviving are daughters Ada Bove Elizabeth Day Katherine White Minnie Morgan and Frank Putnam a son plus sisters Mary Johnson Nellie Jessie Esther Barton and John Putnam. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist denomination.

End men Gina Bianchi, Loretta Cantoni, Deloris Keifer and Marie Fessler drew laughs with antics. Performers wore blue blue and ink green overalls. most were blacked, inner interlocutor Maurine Swift wore white trousers and dark coat.
