Surveyor 3 Nears Moon Landing In Ocean of Storms
Pasadena based United Press International reports Surveyor 3 with a television camera and digging device heads toward a soft landing in the Ocean of Storms. The three legged probe targets 4 04 p m Pacific time and will slow with retrorocket burns to about 3 mph just above the lunar surface for a televised sampling sequence.

Iowa youth corps projects create over 1000 jobs nationwide
