Compromise Beer Bill Heads to Iowa Senate
Des Moines April 17 The compromise beer bill was to be presented to the legislature today. Sen J G Lucas said he would call the bill in the senate. Both houses must approve as written or a conference committee will craft another compromise. The measure allows beer and food to be sold in same establishments with one non beer restaurant in town and bans rural taverns. It raises class A license from 250 to 1000 and class C permit from 50 to 501, and requires a beer saloon sign in most taverns.

Personnel Changes At Bus Terminal Announced At Bee Line
