David H Griffith aged eighty died at his daughter’s home four miles southeast of Crawfordsville after a week of serious illness. DES MOINES April 13. State Senator W. G. Haskell Cedar Rapids suffered a second stroke Monday and remained unconscious at noon today. A veteran 69 year old member of the legislature, he had rallied from the first stroke but again deteriorated, with family at his bedside.

Five Killed in Oklahoma Storm
Five lives were lost and many injured as a tornado tore through eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas last night. Flooding continued across Oklahoma with high waters and rain reported in several areas.
