Des Moines April 11. Enrollment for the 1947 Hawk Eye Boys State will be limited to 720, said Jesse W. Halden of Newton commander of the American Legion. The event at Camp Dodge June 15 to 22 will allow one boy from each of Iowa’s 634 posts, with extra vacancies allocated to larger posts. A. W. Coon, Des Moines Boys State director in 1943 and 1944, will lead this year’s camp with a staff of over 50 counselors in athletics law government and recreation to supervise the boys.
