Woman Killed in Crash West of Sigourney
A young mother, Mrs. Roger Prosser, about 22, from Long Island New York, died when her car left U S 92 west of Sigourney Monday night. Her husband, a sailor on a delay en route from California to Idaho Falls, Idaho, was hospitalized with minor injuries and shock, and their eight month old daughter was uninjured. Prosser, 23, hitch hiked into town for aid as rescuers worked.

Cedar Rapids residents vote April 11 on adopting daylight time this summer. The council acts after a 5800-signature petition from the Junior Chamber of Commerce.
