Columbus Jan 14. L G Addison and T H Clark representing Columbus Gas and Fuel and Federal Gas and Fuel warn that if council does not accept their terms they will sell gas in other markets. They demand an ordinance fixing 36 cents per thousand for five years and 35 cents for the next five.
Miners insist the operator cannot interfere with their right to work and report being threatened across the Y. and O. mines in Ohio Pennsylvania and surrounding areas amid stoppage and tension.
Edmund Lamy, world amateur champion at Saranac Lake, set a 720 yard world record of 17.4 seconds with pace from his brother Ernest. The Lamy trio, father O. Columbus Ohio January 14 John Mc Broom of Legea Ohio who aided by a shotgun prevented State Engineer Marker from brewing up a dam to the Heaking river powering McBroom's mill has apologized to state officials and said he would not press the charge of carrying dynamite under which Marker was arrested. No decision has been reached whether McBroom will be prosecuted for his denacing use of the gun.
