Terror strikes city as fragile ceasefire collapses. Violence erupts anew amid fears of renewed fighting and displacement. Major streets report gunfire and checkpoints, while officials urge calm and plan crowd safety measures.

The city saw crowded streets, food and clothing relief efforts, and urgent aid from Red Cross workers amid heavy damage and casualties including 20 federals killed on San Juan de Lateran street.
