The Ohio flood relief commission began a partial survey of Columbus West Side and other flooded districts. Governor Cox, Dayton’s Patterson, Cincinnati’s Schmiding, and Columbus leaders led a special train to inspect Hamilton, Cincinnati, Trenton, Portsmouth and river towns.
