The Misses Tooker and Hill of Chicago have let a $4,000 sanitarium contract to James A Sheridan of this city. Work will start at once on a slope one mile and a half west of town with views of the surrounding countryside. The sanitarium will treat hay fever and related diseases and is run by trained nurses. Fire damages Kenfield residence on West Third Street
Fire Sunday morning partially destroyed the Kenfield home on West Third Street occupied by the Mortensen family. Most household goods were saved but many items were broken or water insured. Building and contents were insured. The Mortensens are now staying at the Harris cottage on Fifth Street near Third Avenue West.
