For oats mix one pound formalin with fifty gallons water and saturate seed oats then dry or air dry if broadcast. For potatoes immerse unsprouted seed tubers two hours in one half pound formalin per fifteen gallons water, extend to three or four hours for deep scab, reuse solution five to six times, avoid cross use between oats and potatoes.
