Houghton Falls Park Set for Busy Recreation Plan
Captain Brower of the Lucile has built a dock at Houghton Falls and run several Sunday excursions. About two hundred Ashland and Washburn residents visited last Sunday. Plans include a pavilion with dancing floor boat livery refreshment stands and bath houses with a manager in charge. The Lucile may run two trips daily to the park and evening events will follow after the pavilion is completed.
