Wisconsin Republicans Nominate State Ticket at Milwaukee Convention
Nine hundred and ninety delegates from across Wisconsin convened in Milwaukee to nominate the party ticket for the September primaries. William J. Morgan heads the ticket for Governor with W. Ganfield for U S Senator and Riley S Young for Lieutenant Governor. The slate also includes Martin R. Paulson for Secretary of State and John F. Baker for Attorney General. Council Passes Health and Cow Control Ordinances
At the regular monthly meeting last Tuesday evening the Council enacted two health ordinances and a cow control rule. They closed dance halls at 1am and ordered cows led to pasture to protect boulevards and lawns. The Commercial Club was designated a comfort station. the water works appraisal bill of 523.04 was referred to the City Attorney.
