Social notes at Tucker sanatorium party west of city
Dr and Mrs B Schlesaman hosted a Monday evening party at the Tucker sanatorium west of the city attended by about twenty couples. A dancing and luncheon followed, described as a delightful time. The Tucker place sits in the Waddenventer creek valley with views of Chequamegon bay, and operates as a summer rest cure for invalids. The road is poor and its valley location keeps the beauty largely unseen.
