Campers At Memorial Park Draw Local Notables
A large turnout of campers gathered at Memorial Park. Attending were George W. Sosterisan, Viola school head. Rev. Clyde L. Gibbons, Richland Center Baptist pastor. Prof. Frederick Wesley Orr of Appleton. and Orr’s family. Gibbons will stay another week and has a radio setup at the park. Orr learned of Henderson’s residency and the two recalled trips from Jackson Michigan with trout fishing on the Flage river. The group praised the park’s camping grounds and plans to return next summer.

Funeral for Margaret Starr 19 in Washburn
Margaret Starr aged 19 daughter of Mr and Mrs Starr of Washburn died July 14 at Mount Washington sanitorium near Hau Claire from tuberculosis. The funeral was held at the Catholic church and she was buried in Calvary cemetery. A school teacher she was well remembered by Washburn friends and her death was noted as the blossoming of young womanhood.
