Notice to Subscribers in Arrears by Postmaster General
The Postmaster General issues a January 1 order affecting all newspapers mailing through the mails. If renewals are not received, dailies must renew within three months and weeklies within one year or risk removal from the legitimate subscriber list and mailing at the regular second class rate. The Times must have one year arrears renewed to continue mail delivery.
