At the annual meeting of the Mens Club of the Congregational Church old officers were re elected. New officers include Nels M Oscar president Q W Frost vice president M C Lincoln secretary and L N Clausen treasurer. A banquet and social time at the Masons on Monday evening with wives as guests is planned and a program arranged. Enocksons return from Spooner after death in the family. The County Board Public Buildings and Grounds Committee invites bids by Jan 15 1910 to furnish about 100 cords of green hard wood and 100 cords of green hemlock for delivery at the court house during winter. Special Meetings Begin January 9 at Congregational Church

Rev. Geo. E. Plant will lead a week of special services on the Sayings of the Cross at the Congregational Church starting Sunday evening January 9 and ending Sunday January 16. A Communion service will be held January 16 with new members received.

The annual meeting of the Congregational Church is to be held at the church this evening with supper served at 6:00. The business meeting will follow. The church and its departments are reported in good condition. A fifteen cent supper charge will apply. Everyone is invited.

The installation of officers for the K P Lodge has been postponed to next Tuesday evening. Washburn Water Works patrons received postal notices about water rent due. The company will switch to quarterly rentals instead of semiannual collection.
