The I S W A lodge hosted its annual Christmas festival at Union Hall last Saturday evening with many members and friends in attendance. New Road Planned From Ashland To Superior
D M Maxey told an Ashland News reporter a road will be built soon from Ashland to Superior with a meeting planned with Superior residents to start work next spring. The Bayfield end is nearly complete with minor extensions needed while the main trunk lies in Douglas county where local interest and investigations suggest readiness to build. The completed highway would connect Superior to Milwaukee via Washburn.
