New Managers Take Charge of Opera House Lease

Trawmaster Nichols Visits to Check Iron River Line

Trawmaster Nichols of the Northern Pacific spent last night and today in town to investigate service between here and Iron River. Branch trains have ceased for passenger use and no connection with Iron River is attempted. He notes heavy traffic and loggin, causing engine switching and long runs, with 2 to 5 hours needed for the trip. Nichols hopes to secure improved service.
