Christmas church events and mission talk announced
The church hosts a Christmas tree and exercises Saturday at 7 o clock with invitations to all. Washburn Commercial Club Formed and Organized
The Washburn Commercial Club was incorporated at a Monday night meeting after preliminary work by citizens. Officers include President M. A. Sprague, Vice President H G Mertens, Secretary Treasurer O A Lamoreaux, and managers Yates, Olson, Maxcy, and Meehan. Seventy three members joined, each paying ten dollars. The group plans to invest 550 to rehabilitate the old library building and furnish the quarters, aiming to open to members soon after year’s start.
