Licenses Revoked for Saloon Violations in Washburn

The Washburn town board revoked licenses of three saloon keepers Ed Williams of the Arcade Wm Burns and John Reiten after a Friday and Saturday trial. Williams and Burns faced charges of Sunday sales and gambling in a building area. Reiten was not found to have knowingly violated the law. The paper criticizes the board and calls for consistent enforcement and reform.
