Red Men Lodge Sees Growth After Bayfield Split
About twenty members of the Bayfield Red Men lodge that recently disbanded seek transfer to the local lodge pushing total to roughly 240. The group plans to raise their death benefit from 50 to 300 and expects many new entrants at the next meeting. M Marsbank left for Ashland after running a junk shop locally. The University of Wisconsin Agricultural Experiment Station released its annual spring bulletin on analytical fertilizers. Strange death linked to buried Siskiwit treasure tale
A man named Andrew Smith killed himself near Siskiwit Lake amid rumors about a buried fortune once shared with his friend Andrew Erickson. Erickson was declared insane in 1903 and confined to Oshkosh then Hall Clair.
