Sparks Arrested in Piqua for Forging Uncles Notes
Charles W. Sparks, formerly of Huntington, was arrested in Piqua on charges of forging the names of his two uncles, John Van Albert Sparks. He allegedly obtained signatures in a memoranda book under the pretense of remembrances. He previously faced trial in the Wascousko circuit court for forging Albert Lucker's name to a note, was convicted, and served time in the penitentiary.

Pollock son arrives from transport Grant to Fort Bayard
Andrew Pollock learned last Wednesday that his son Earnest E. Pollock reached San Francisco aboard the Grant. Earnest had been serving in the army in the Philippine Islands and was en route to Fort Bayard where a hospital for consumptives exists. It is feared he is developing consumption.

Democratic central committee to meet in Warsaw to elect chairman
The Kosciusko County Democratic central committee will meet at Firemen's Hall in Warsaw on Thursday February 20 at 2 PM to choose a chairman and handle other business. Precinct committeemen should be selected promptly, attendance urged. The notice dated January 21 1902 is signed by Chairman Go R Danin. Committees in the city wards and Wayne township are called to Fireman's Hall February 14 at 7 PM and February 8 at 2 PM respectively to elect two year committeemen.
