Escape Involved Crash At Fourth Street Crossing
Seven people including five children escaped injury when a Chevrolet touring car driven by Raymond Lawson of Chandlers Valley was struck from behind by a Pennsylvania Railroad switch engine at the Fourth Street crossing near the depot. The accident occurred as the Lawsons were en route to the wedding of Miss Marion Prudence Baughman of New Bethlehem and Allen P. Wilson.
