Missing youths' rowboat found in Allegheny River
An overturned rowboat used by William Lehman and Calvin Zerbe was found floating in the Allegheny River near Youngsville road. D J Black located the boat this morning, with fishing poles under the seat. The missing youths, Lehman 21 of Starbrick and Zerbe 17 of Granderville, were last seen April 19 after being seen in the boat on Thursday. Mrs. Lehman voiced disbelief they would abandon the search for work without notice. Black had searched both river banks in the days after their disappearance and continued the hunt periodically. The discovery marks the first evidence in the two-week case.
