First Concert Of Choral Society to Be Given Tonight
The Warren Community Choral Society, now about 100 voices, performs its first concert at 8 15 tonight in the First Presbyterian church corner Third avenue and Market street. Meadville’s 30 strong male chorus and Franklin and Title community chorus join. Guest director Prof Lee Hess Barnes leads a 150 voice choir with a four grand piano ensemble. Program includes Faust after a short Meadville chorus prelude. Admission 75 cents. tickets from chorus members or at door. Proceeds fund concert expenses and local society support.
