The American Legion names James Madden as chef in charge of the kitchen and lunch counter for the dinner tent at the fair grounds this year. George Hedges oversees the tent, Auxiliary members will serve, and Madden’s specials include sour kraut and wiener sandwiches with a Sunday dinner on Sept. 4. Reservations are open, and the tent features Frigidaires courtesy of Don Babbitt and Walker’s Big Balloon. The Pennsylvania Girls Band will dine there between concerts.
