Death of Rouse Hospital Superintendent Stan Laurence
Stan Laurence longtime Rouse Hospital superintendent died last Friday after a long illness. Born July 24, 1907 near Youngsville on the Brokenstraw Airport site he was a Warren High School graduate and also a farmer. Survived by his wife Joyce Haller Laurence and two children from his first marriage Nancy and John. The Rev Beecher M Rutledge officiated at the Lutz Vermilyea Home service at 2 pm Monday with burial in Oakland Cemetery.
