Warren Borough Leases Land For Playground And Improves Parking
Warren borough council voted to lease an acre and a half from August Schultz between Glade and Frank streets with a one year option to buy for 5500. Plans include cement anchors for swings and no permanent structures. The Beaty field bank will gain steps built by Jaycee labor with borough supervision. The meeting also addressed parking changes on Conenango and Pennsylvania avenues, a 2595 bid for 600 feet of Buchanan Street sewer, and naming J. H. DeFrees to fill the late Ostergard's board of adjustment term. The Crescent park sidewalk project remains under study at five dollars per foot.
