Warren Soap Box Derby To Crown Local Champion
Warren County hosts the Third Annual Warren Soap Box Derby on McPherson Street with 40 plus drivers racing for a spot in the Akron national derby. Races begin 1 15 p m after a 1 p m pace race, with a parade at 12 30 p m from Dan's Chevrolet. A banquet at Beaty School will honor the winner with Gerald Archibald of National Force and Ordnance Co presenting the trophy. Beaty School hosts the racers display Friday 7 to 9 p m.
