The Brokenstraw Valley joint schools run an eight week adult drivers course led by Charles Bennett. Nine already enrolled despite ice and storms with a waiting list of about 40. The program blends classroom study with supervised on road practice and ends with state police licensing tests.
Miss Margaret Brazee was re elected president of the Youngsville Community fair association at the February meeting. Stanley Laurence, Rose Davis, and F J Schumacher were re elected to key posts.
