In Philadelphia on October 26 William Bradley 65 and his sisters Anna 60 Lena 62 lost their home at 27 South Seventeenth Street after a tax dispute. Two Killed at Grace Crossing in Warren County
Dr James Gass aged 49 and his wife 47 of Sheffield were killed instantly when their car was struck by two pusher engines at Grace Crossing near Stoneham five miles from Warren on Sunday afternoon. Their son Fred 10 survived with minor injuries after being thrown clear. Mrs Gass reportedly saved him by flinging him from the car. Dr Gass a Nova Scotia native and longtime Sheffield physician was active in Masonic circles and local medical groups. Funeral held Thursday at the M E Church in Sheffield after bodies were brought to Warren for preparation.
