Elmer Holmes Killed by Electric Shock
Elmer Holmes son of L P Holmes and brother of L J Holmes of Hoff Business College Warren died by electrocution while riding on top of a freight car near Mamaroneck New York. A buttonhook bearing B G Gregorys name and a few metal items were found. a letter was sent to Mr Gregory asking him to help identify the deceased. The accident occurred between New Rochelle and Mamaroneck with the body later identified in New Rochelle. Holmes funeral was held at Warren with notable attendance from the Builders Class of the Presbyterian church and the Knights of Pythias of Sheffield in attendance.
