Meeting of the Philomel piano club in open session

An open Philomel piano club meeting featured Beethoven Symphony No. 1 performed on two pianos, selections from French and German songs by Miss McCalmont, and two piano solos by Mrs. McCalmont. Mrs. Brann's paper on the Development of the Symphony offered a historical analysis from Hayden to Beethoven.
