Warren County Rural Letter Carriers Meet at Youngsville

At the eleventh quarterly meeting in Youngsville fifteen carriers attended. A proposal urged June reports on road conditions in each county seat. Delegates J E McCloskey and A W Bumpus were chosen to attend the state convention in Sunbury in September. Gayle Chase C C Jury and George Mather joined as members. thanks were sent to Youngsville carriers for hospitality. Meeting adjourned to Sugar Grove.

Warren notices report two sudden deaths in Bauman and Murphy families

Violet Bauman infant daughter of Mr and Mrs Wallace Bauman died at Warren on May 25 1907. Bartholomew Murphy aged 84 died at Warren on May 25 1907 from pneumonia.

Printz Block Damaged by Fire

Fire damaged the Printz block on Friday morning causing several hundred dollars in losses. Fire originated from defective wiring and spread from a hallway under the stairs to the third floor. Burfoot’s studio was a total loss with water damage flooding the Printz clothing store and affecting hats and clothing.
