A rail crash in the Warren yard involved Train 33 from Oil City with two ladies and seven men hurt as a passenger coach overturned and another ran off the track. Injured include Egbert Phillips and wife Corbett Parker City R J Williams Elmira R W Roberts Chicago Edward Stebbins New York Tony Kriston Silver Springs and conductors T J Cochrane and trainman Jos Geary of Olean. Some taken to Emergency Hospital. after a three hour delay the train resumed to Olean.
E Samuelson returns to Buffalo to work at his trade after a Warren shop stint. Mrs James Jones assists a fevered brother in Kittanning. August Carlson resumes duties as Sheffield National bank teller. Sheffield Independent band plans an April minstrel show. A daughter born to Mr and Mrs B M Moore on February 22. Sheffield to get a theaterium as Clarendon tannery resumes. Ralph Scott Brennesholtz weds Salome House in Buffalo on February 21. S. Keller's Sons lists two hundred horse blankets priced at $1.50 each in a brief sale notice, inviting buyers to visit the shop for purchase.
In a regular meeting last Monday the council closed the past year’s business and began the new year. Finance and health reports were read and adopted with resignations and new officers elected. Police and fire budgets and licenses tallies were presented, and the session adjourned to March 11.
The American Sunday School Union reports a year of blessing ending March 1 1907 with 15 new Sunday Schools organized 2 re organized 90 school visits and 511 testaments and hymns distributed 128 conversions and 141 Bibles and 511 testaments and hymns sold or given 1 849 home visits and 162 sermons delivered. John S Brown signs the letter.

Miss Eleda Simmons hired as assistant to Miss Ethel Boyce in Commercial department. Bills approved and supplies ordered. Miss Lucille Partridge assigned a room for a summer school. Mrs Watson’s 2500 bond purchase authorized. Teachers Committee protests Ditzenberger license. Supt MacGowan notes a piano donated to East street building via Mrs D Shear.
Mr Martin McGee of Jamestown marries Miss Minnie Boardman of Bear Lake Pa at the Congregational Manse in Jamestown on Saturday afternoon March 2 1907. Rev W H Hickman officiates.
In Yonkers New York Mr and Mrs Charles B Salyer welcome a son born March 3 1907. Mr and Mrs Elof Nelson celebrate a daughter born March 4 1907.

In Deming New Mexico on February 28 1907 Dr Amos C McAlpin aged 48 to 49 died after a decade of fragile health ending a dental practice in Warren. Born September 25 1858 he moved to Point Loma California with his family three years ago and traveled from there to New Mexico for final treatment. He leaves a wife Miss Jessie Miles Davis four children his mother and four brothers. A public spirited figure he served as Warren Burgess and was a leading Mason. Burial at Point Loma follows his final sickness.
Jurors from Grand and Traverse counties were discharged Tuesday afternoon after a quiet week. Several cases were settled or continued, with only one jury trial remaining. Motions were heard yesterday and the remaining business is expected to be disposed of today.
