A Washington telegram questions Mr. Wheeler’s pension act achievements. It notes ten Pennsylvania Delegation members secured more special pension acts this session. Wheeler has thirteen bills passed and three pending, the smallest among nearby districts.
Jamestown Elks Minstrels drew about 40 performers to Library Theater in Warren last Friday under War ren Lodge No. 223. C G Nunn directed a show that drew frequent encores with Edna Magee leading a large group of girls in blackface. After the performance Jamestown visitors were hosted by the Warren Elks at Hickory street, with special late trains back to Jamestown.
