Model dog license law aims to aid wool growers in Pennsylvania

Harrisburg July 3 With house and senate amendments the dog license bill becomes a model law protecting licensed dog owners while targeting unlicensed and night running dogs. It sets license fees from $1 to $2 for males and up to $5 kennel licenses, transfers allowed for $0.25, and requires dog restraint between sunset and sunrise. It outlines enforcement by townships and cities, defines liability for livestock damage, and preserves county remedies if owners fail to pay for damages.
