John Morgan a chemist who recently at a Titusville boarding house took biproduct mercury tablets in a personal crisis has left town for Erie with a good position assured. Dr Guth of North Warren helped arrange his move and offered support after Morgan’s despondent act and failed job hunt. He showed a letter from his wife at North Warren stating they would welcome him at home while he seeks work. Morgan had previously sent earnings to his wife, including a valued diamond ring and expensive fur set. He says interference might have worsened his plan, but he is now cheerful and changed from his prior state.

W. P. Harper of Pittsburg settled a case under Crawford county game laws after officers found a suitcase of dressed grouse and woodcock killed out of season in October 1909.
