Warren H. S. won 11 to 0 against Jamestown in a Thanksgiving Day game at Recreation Park. John Bright drills oil on the T. J. Irvine farm, intends six wells. John J. Nesmith leaves Warren Evening Times to run Jamestown Office of Warren Jamestown Street Railway. Town Council held a brief meeting with no major business. Pennsylvania agriculture department warns feed dealers against rice hull adulteration used in feeds. Hulls are low value, contain woody fiber and silica, irritate animal digestion, and can kill in quantity. Dealers should reject rice hulls, demand guaranteed protein fat content and no adulteration, and protect reputation. Signed N B Critchfield, Secretary of Agriculture.
The regular monthly meeting approved redeeming three bonds held by Mrs. Watson on February 1. Bills were paid, supplies and improvements authorized. President Arird announced Grindley property on Hickory street purchased for 2400 with a building insured for 600. Treasurer reported 20004.54 general fund, 2320.74 building fund, 18641.48 sinking fund.
Erie's grand holiday excursion to New York City and return departs Friday December 22. Jamestown rate for the round trip is 11 dollars with tickets valid ten days for return. Edinboro Normal students are surrounded by favorable study influences as winter term begins January 2, 1906. Joan F. Bigler, Principal. The only Englishman who became pope was Adrian IV.

Forsyth of Pittsburg represents Barnhart Bros. Spindler of Chicago in town Tuesday. Mrs. Ora Burgess of Tidioute visits daughter Mrs. S. W. Brown at 809 Fourth Street for Thanksgiving. Cashier E. H. Lampe of Warren National Bank takes a vacation in New York City with Mrs. Lampe.

Notices report the deaths of Charlotte Kline at Kane on December 1 1905 from pneumonia and Donald Mullen at Warren on November 29 1905 from spinal meningitis aged two. Also Vernie Reed aged 24 at Warren on November 28 1905 from appendicitis. Interment for Reed planned for Mercer County November 30.
At Warren on December 3 1905 Mr and Mrs C F Knowlton of Conewango Avenue welcomed a new son.
Attorney General Carson concludes that the compulsory education law does not allow fines for nonattendance when a child is refused admission due to lack of vaccination. He cites Commonwealth v Smith to support that the teacher’s denial in the absence of a certificate does not widen parental duties.
The Erie R A announces a holiday excursion from Jamestown to New York City and return on Friday December 22. Tickets are 11 dollars round trip eligible for ten days return. Sleeping car reservations may be made in advance through the Erie Ticket Agent or F H Garfield D P A Jamestown NY.
