In Titusville on August 2, Curtis McKinney Holbrook, age eleven and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. McKinney, died at the city hospital from a gunshot wound. The wound occurred while he and companions were shooting at a target. a misdirected .22 caliber bullet from a rifle owned by Albert Hoenig caused the fatal injury.
