The piece mentions church bazaars, weather jests, clock repairs at Warren Savings Bank, rail and bridge work, local papers and printers, and a vicious horse incident ending with a restive animal being rehomed.

It notes 550 workers active, subcontracts to Campbell and Fuller, Woodward, Redman, and reports an injunction against NYP&O over West River Street as B P West bridge work advances.
