Tragic accident as boy detonates pistol cap

In Sugar Grove Pennsylvania a seven year old boy struck a cap with a hammer on an old pistol whose weak spring hid a misfire. The bullet entered Mrs. Gage’s head from behind the ear, exiting above the other side, a wound feared fatal.
