Por Gas ture, Pa March 26. The scheme to test the gas territory of the section is being agitated again. Months ago a fund of 12000 was raised by local gentlemen who contracted for a 4000 foot well. The drill reached 4500 feet and two sections of t ocla were lost. A glycerine shot proved ineffective. The well was sealed for three weeks and later showed gas pressure of 300 pounds. The local committee now plans to drill another well.
Sunday night around midnight an Oxrxan tannery night engineer reported four men placing a device under a building. He called out to them and they fled. Investigators found two large dynamite bombs beneath the structure ready to detonate, believed placed by dissatisfied factory workers.
