Death of Capt M H Butler in Boston Mass shocks Warren county
The death of Captain M H Butler at Boston Massachusetts last Monday surprised friends in Warren county and the surrounding area. He contracted a serious cold at the Denver Knights of Labor meeting two years ago, then opened a Patson head quarters in Philadelphia and worked until his health declined. He had been gradually failing for months, but his active life allowed no rest. Death resulted from quick consumption. A brief biographical sketch will be published next week.

Jail Break at Butler County Jail Involves Six Escapees

Old Borough Council Finishes Business Elects New Officers

Death of Peter Greenlund at Fourth Street home
The death of Peter Greenlund occurred at his Fourth Street residence at 1 am Tuesday after pneumonia weakened his constitution. A Danish immigrant who settled in California in 1852 and later Warren, he was a respected business man with a large family. Survived by widow, eight children, four brothers, a sister, and several fraternal memberships, the funeral is set for Friday at 2:30 pm with interment at Oakland.
