Horrible accident at Glade Run tannery leaves man fatally injured
John Cahill, a Glade Run tannery worker, was crushed by cog wheels and chain while oiling machinery at about 7 am Thursday. His leg and arm were severely mangled, his hand crushed, and he died about 11 pm after sixteen hours of suffering. Father DeLakoyne and doctors treated him on site and at his home.
