Rouse Hospital case report finds generally adequate care

The committee reports buildings in good repair and livestock in excellent condition. It finds medical attendance adequate overall, despite three days of Dr Blodgett’s illness, with Dr Hamilton and Dr Jacobs stepping in. Absences by the superintendent were with consent, not improper, and no serious neglect was found. They urge better physician compensation to ensure personal attention.
