Democratic caucus endorses tariff reform in patriotic address
A Warren PA dispatch reports the Democratic caucus in the Fifty‑First Congress adopted a two resolution address pledging to renew the fight for tariff reform and to reduce whiskey and tobacco revenue, amid a climate of political intrigue and speculative chatter about candidates and alliances. The piece also notes community concerns over aid to the Nelson family after a fire and broader calls for neighborly charity.
