Net return on three carloads of Success ore
The first three carloads of crude ore and concentrates shipped by the Success Mining company yielded a net return of 11042.45 dollars. Three more carloads are in transit and expected to bring similar returns. The mill runs one shift with overtime, about ten hours daily, with two carloads of concentrates ready to load. Ore milled is from development as no stopes are opened yet. Within days mining above the tunnel level should begin and full mill operation may resume. About 150 tons of high grade zinc concentrates are awaiting sale readiness.

Lead Crystals Mine Reports New Wagon Road to Site
John E B Steen president says a wagon road five and a half miles long has been completed to the Lead Crystals mine on Eagle creek west fork about two and a half miles from Eagle. Under lease to Roy Steen and L J Latham of Salem Ore, ore on the dump will be shipped in December to Prichard ten miles away. Three tunnels expose rich ore with No 2 showing the best. A shoot sixty feet long, two to four feet wide, should yield about 40 percent lead and 10 to 12 ounces of silver.
