Bunker-Chance East Caledonia Shaft Under Heavy Development
Development work at the Thinker Chance property in Wardner is progressing rapidly. The crosscut from the H10 foot level has extended over 200 feet, reaching a vein at depths beyond 800 feet. The vein near the Oxyurn fault lies in Burke quartzite with a 20 foot width, and the Butler lead shows high silver content. Nick Petrinovich oversees operations as electric power powers leased East Caledonian machinery.

Bobby Anderson Group plans drift to reach ore shoot in shaft
Theodore Brown of Pine Creek says the Bobby Anderson Group Mining Co will resume work on the property. A 200 foot shaft exposed a lead silver copper ore shoot years ago but high water moved the creek and damaged the shaft. He will drift from a higher tunnel where the vein has been crosscut hoping to find the same ore shoot. An assessment funds this work.
